Re: Calling aLL NY stunters and stunteresses

Thanks Peerock.

Regarding my post before about using the other gate if I can't get it through the smaller one that I can go straight down on...

This is the other gate. Any ideas on how I can get down this? The ramp would have to be angled onto the grass going through where all the garbage is. That patch of concrete is much shorter than it looks.

Its hard to tell how steep those bottom steps are.I'm guessing you cant just leave it parked on that middle landing. Block your own steps by placing it on an angle with the front tire chained to the banister. I think you may have more of a problem backing the bike down each time by yourself though if you do the ramp thing. I also have GSXR Parts too.. Going for CHEAP

Pretend the bottom steps don't exist and it's a wall... it can't go down the bottom stops, the very bottom landing is only 2 feet long. Parking it isn't a problem, I can keep it in the yard. It's getting it down those original 3 steps you see that will be. There's room to park it on the middle landing, but that doesn't help because if I park is there there isn't enough room to get the ramp underneath it. It needs to come in from an angle. There's no way I can leave it out on the sidewalk in front not because I'm worried about it getting stolen, but because people ain't havin it.

Okay.. I get it... in the pic, you're standing in front of the gate looking at the steps going down. Ur asking if its safe to angle the ramp down toward the grass. I don't see why not as long as all points of the ramp are making good enough contact with the ground. Try putting some body weight on the ramp at that angle to get an idea of how secure it is... it should be fine.. I loaded my bike onto a pickup truck with slippery, unsecured piece of wood.. you should be good money though.

Re: Calling aLL NY stunters and stunteresses

Nice. Did you get the ultimate? Yo eric, check my post with that picture there.. think i'd have a problem putting the ramp sideways rather than straight? If it's sideways, all of the rubber ends won't be on it.

Well, there's a gate on each side of the house, each with stairs going down. On the right side, I can lay the ramp out straight.. only problem is the gate opening is really small. I only have about 26 inches of clearance, and I don't think the bike will clear it with the cage.

The bigger gate that will 100% fit the bike set up is the one you see. It needs to be brought in the backyard. Basically, I need to get that first step of stairs, around the other next set of stairs on the grass and in the backyard. I could put the ramp at an angle, but is it going to be ok if all the rubber ends aren't on the top step? Basically it needs to go this way... any ideas?
