Having trouble with my brembo 16x18 handbrake its not stayin stiff i bled it the other day really quick and it was better but then got worse as the day went on, ive done the leavin the zip tie on overnight and in the morning its hard as a rock but then as the day goes on its gets softer, no leaks in the lines or anythnig like it just gets mushyy after riding for a while, rear rotor is a little warped could that be affecting it?

Re: brembo handbrake problem?

Bleed all the banjo bolts, some calipers have two bleeders so check for that. Also I find it a lot easier to bleed the brake when your lever is adjusted all the way out.

make sure your bleeding the master with it right side up, or you can switch the bleeder screw with the brake line/banjo bolt, that way you can bleed it in the position that it will be mounted in. make sure your reservoir has enough fluid in it where theres not air bubbles gettin down in there when ur doing wheelies and ****. bleed, bleed ride and rebleed. if u have a dual caliper set up make sure the caliper is in the stock position while you bleed it so that the bleeder screw is pointing up. squeeze the reservoir tube to pump out any air trapped in the master...etc
