how in the hell

do i change the shield on a suomy spec 1r helmet? it looks like i need to remove the outer cups for access but i feel like im gonna break it. how do they come off?

its not as easy as every other helmet? cause that definitely a downfall for that then in my book. I change shield alot lol

it wasnt hard at all actually. you just pop the cups off, twist the clear tab till it locks and remove the shield. then just reverse the process. if you look from the front inside the cup you can see a white tab you push to pop the cup off without breaking the clips though i just popped it off.

i love the suomy. i have a shoei rf1000 and this feels like a much better quality product. its not as comfortable as the shoei but i like it. i wont buy another shoei. next one will prolly be an arai if its not another suomy.
