Catching idle
Re: Catching idle
i was having the same problem, aside from practice (obviously) i kept playing with my idle until i found that sweet spot that would carry the bike without needing more and without needing to romp rear brake, once i found that i just took a day of practice
just a little

Re: Catching idle
you need to put in the extra idle cable between the throttle bodies so that when you adjust the idle its adjusting the throttle open like on most other bikes. the stock idle adjust on 600rr and f4i actually goes into the wax unit which adjusts fuel air mixture and makes ur bike run shitty. yes u can bump ur idle up that way but its much more prone to be boggy and not run as strong as if youre using an idle cable that controls the throttle bodies. and be careful as trying to put the idle up to high with the stock adjuster it can break off real easily, ive seen it happen to alot of ppl. do yourself a favor, go the the dealer and buy an f2 idle cable and install it. theres a how to on it somehwere on here or if u go to 600rr.net theres a how to over there in the stunt section.
