Help Help Help!!

i was at the spot ridin last night and left to go to the gas station turned the bike off put gas in it and it wouldnt turn back on. i was like wtf so i started checkin all the fuses and **** and they are all good. if anyone knows of this happening to a 06 636 please help me. i got the manual for it so im just gonna have to start checkin for power everywhere.

Did you turn the key off and on or just the switch?
Is the pump priming?
Is the motor turning over?
Do your lights work?

All stuff that should have been in your post

i turned the key off to take it out to open the gas tank. put it back in and no nothing with turn on. ill turn the ignition on and brake lights or anything wont come on. fuel pump isnt priming or anything. i can jump the starter over but that doesnt mean ****. i tried push startin it and nothing happened

u probably just blew a fuse that **** happens a lot

Check the ignition switch if nothing is turning on.

none of your wires are loose? does your key have a lot of play in it?

that was going to be my next test. i guess ill just check for power goin in and if its got power goin in and none comin out then its the switch and ill just ****** jump the **** over.

i've heard with 636's that if you click the ignition on and off repeatedly, that it will reset the fuel pump. did you try that? I remember my bro talkin about that one time...

How about your main fuse? The 636 has a seperate main fuse if I remember correctly.............

A few dummy checks:

Ignition harness plug check?
Terminals?


Leave key on and wiggle all of your wiring if nothing else works.........

wiggled all wiring and checked the main fuse...

loose battery terminals, or you could have fried the ignition, just bypass it and see if you ***** comes to life

If all else fails, check the fuses with a voltmeter...... I've seen a few "phantoms".........

I'd go over it with a friend..... You may be missing something.... Good luck man!

may be a dumb q but did you check the main fuse under the little red cap?
