Anyone Ever Pulled Groin Muscle???? - Stunt Discussion

I pulled mine about 4 weeks ago and im still in major pain. after 4 weeks i still cant side step or even move a rug with my foot.
has anyone ever pulled their groin before or know of anyones experience.

ive done research and it seems surgery is the only way. this is no minor pull either, im in some pain.

yep i did,i play ice hockey and pulled it doing that,you better just sit yo butt down man.i tried to play after bout two months and ended up pulling it again,all you can do is let it heal,or that is what i did.i honestly was down for about four months,that shit aint no joke,and yo sex life is basically GONE.i walked like i was 80 and running was out the window.i was the first time i has ever done it and it was hard as hell to get over

Yeah might be more than a pull but are you doing anything for it? Like icing it etc

I have and it sucks!!!!! It does take a while to get over.. what I did was try to stretch it about 10 times a day. Ice and heat too... heat cuz it felt good and ice cuz they told me too.

But I took it slow and could barely stretch it at all at first, but having my wife help me with massaging it every day, and by basically moving my leg for me and stuff at first. But it slowly got farther and farther out! And with the more close to normal range of motion I got it was feeling better and better, up until one day... I woke up and was not paying much attention to it at all, didn't really think about it, and then eventually... I was paying it Zero attention and back to doin what I normally did before!
2.... maybe 3 weeks tops, and it was 100% gone in my case.

but I'm bummin now cuz I stepped backwards off my bike yesterday, right leg first, merk scraping, and now my whole side and right lower back is sore as hell! I had a ball peen hammer head, (round part on my back) all wedged in between the seat and my lower back in my van, diggin into it for the whole drive back home today. that actually felt good, cuz you can move the handle around and lean back against it, and it's a hillbilly back massager!!

Maybe I shouldn't have tried to ride again today to work it out. But today I wasn't scraping but I was trying to just tap my foot down really quick with the bike in a 12, and then jump back up on my bike and do a can can or something lame. but that act of stepping behind me like that was harder than normal. So now, when I bend over to touch my toes on the way down my lower back feels weak and it also quivers and shakes while I'm moving.

Feels a lil better now, but please refer to the "riding on pain pills" thread for the rest! LOL <joking!! I did take one a few minutes ago though... LOL

yeah its prolly worse than a pull, i just dont know the exact term to use. damnit this sucks 4 weeks and i still cant hardly ride. yeah sex is hard to accomplish in this state. im super bummed ........ no wheelies and no sex.....hell it hurts to jack off!
