Will a CBR600RR be enough for me?

I know most of you guys will say its enough power for anyone, but ive never ridden one. And im not sure, i rode a buddies ZX10. And that thing is the bomb. It makes power right off idle, and you can bring it down to an idle in 6th gear and it will still pull away strong. I could never get the thing over 9000 RPM's on the roads we were on, and that was scary fast. I loved it!

But anyway ive been looking for a sportbike and found a deal on a 600RR, and im wondering how will the power compare to my buddies ZX-10? Ive heard guys say the 600 is just as fast up to 100 MPH. Is this true? Because i will never go over 100 on daily riding. Does the 600 just require higher revs to make the power? And will it make any good power at low revs, like under 6 grand?

My dad has a VFR800, and it really doesnt have any balls below 6500, and then at 6500 it hits V-tech. And it makes awesome power. But the thing i dont like about the VFR is that you cant bring the revs down, or the bike will chug...

no not really the 600's need to be in high rmp's to make the tourqe. try springing for a gsxr 750 or ever a cbr 900 929 954 etc buying a 1000 is just for saying you can do 180+ the 900's still have massive amounts of tourqe but hey check it out

IF you wont even take a zx10 past 9k rpm, then why do you need a liter??

not to say that i cant take it past 9 grand, but the roads we were on wouldnt really let me lol. The power of that thing is truely amazing, but im sure i could use most of it on open roads

I suppose i need to find a 600 to ride, before i make my decision.
