untwisting forks in triple

so guys after kicking my wheel until my foot started to throb and getting no where, what is the easiest way to go about untwisting my forks in the triple clamps. should i loosen the clamps and turns the wheel?

i have seen moto x guys kick the wheel and it straightened em so i figured id ask dick!

um yeah i know its not moto x but they do pretty much have the smae thing. forks, 2 triple clamps and a wheel and handle bars. so i tried?

get the front of the bike off the ground....with nothing touching it...
losen top clamps..
spin the rim hard as you can.
grab front brake hard..
tighten up the clamps....
should be staight and ready to go......

Loosen the bottom triple bolts, leave the top clamp and handle bar bolts tight, loosen the front axle and the 2 bolts on the bottom of each fork leg. ride the bike at low speed pump the front brakes a little bit.... this will make everything settle pretty well.

yeah, this way if for some reason your up triple decides to let go, your fork tubes stab you in the neck or your front axle backs out and you eat shit. :YEAH

take what chance? if the top clamp is tight, its not going anywhere! if the bars are mounted under the top clamp...... its definitely not going anywhere. the forks on my 900 were tweaked and doing this was the only thing that made them settle.
