Talking google earth

i use google earth to find new spot, and it works excellent,

Re: google earth

I've used it once before too. But the spot that I thought was going to be so good was all gravel.

Re: google earth

Naw, I haven't used it in a while. I didn't know it even had that option. I've searched my area a lot before and there's really nothing for me.

Re: google earth

Yeah, biggest problem is it doesn't give me a clear view of the ground. My house is just a jumbled mess.

Re: google earth

kinda cool story....
I was using it to get a view of some hunting property and I browsed over to my lot. Now we use it to search for other lots also to a point.... But dig it.... I'm the only one riding it in this town. The lot is for a vacant buiding for a few years now. But guess who's van, trailer, and squidly self could actually be seen IN the google earth image!

NO SHIT!! You can actually see a vehicle with a trailer parked exactly where I always park and a blurry little image of me on my bike also!! I have shown about everyone that I know that has come over to my house, including a few people on this site.... but how the hell do I print a picture or email a link to the image to another google earth user or just save it to my PC even?? I'm afraid they are going to take another picture and update the image! It's ben this way for a while now...

If u look up at the top of your google earth page you will see a little icon to the right of the printer icon. If you click on that button it will open a page where anyone can see what you are looking at. It takes you to a google page and you can provide us w/ the link.
Here's my spot in the country. http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=35.81...z=17&t=h&hl=en
And this is 1.7 miles of prime stunt/race asphalt stuck out in the country. http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=35.66...z=14&t=h&hl=en
Parking lots are a big no no around here. The only lot we have is 20 miles away at work and I don't really feel like getting off work and going straight at it.
