Re: new dent!

start behind the gas cap, then work your way to the right and left and back. if a crease starts to form, stop, and use the metal hammer to iron it out. you can also use the metal hammer for fine tuning of the edges, etc..
i used a 20oz rubber hammer and a 20oz metal hammer.

an old post by kj explained all this and helped me out the most, but i can't find it.

EDIT: don't use a rubber hammer, use a rubber mallet. the difference is a mallet has a bigger head. you can see it in my pic

a rubber deadblow is actually optimal to get rid of the bounce back, all the engergy going in helps it dent easier.

Re: new dent!

haha! i'll be back out to the spot soon. just tryin to get this f4i together.
shouldn't be too much longer.

+ tryin not to stunt the 900 cuz i wanna sell it.(need the dough)
if it don't sell in the next week or so, i might just keep it and start stuntin it again. only thing it needs is a rear rotor, its shot.

on a more upbeat note... i just had a guy at work that owns an autobody shop, paint the f4i frame, swingarm, subframe and crashcage candy red w/silver basecoat. came out pretty nice and only cost me $500 (including materials).
