cut the end that connects to the midpipe, i used a cut off wheel on my yoshimura carbon fiber tri oval and it came out good. you can use a hachsaw or whatever you have lying around......

Re: Pipe cutting question...?

when u do this cut off the far end wrap some duct tape around were ur gona cut it. then cut down the center of the tape this will prevent it from fraying the carbon fiber strands. then rivet the cap back on over the remaining tape dont take the tape off first. once the cap is on then trim tape with razor blade. O and use a hack saw it will b much smoother

Re: Pipe cutting question...?

when I cut mine I just put a piece of masking tape around where I wanted the cut and then i used a 12 inch metal cutting drop blade. nothing frayed. its a DRY carbon weave. I cut from the tip of the exhaust and then kept the rivets out and locktighted the tip back onto the pipe. Looks much cleaner without the rivets...

Do not cut the end to the mid pipe on a two brothers, the baffle inside comes apart at the end cap, if u cut it at the mid pipe u just ruined the can. Take the length off from the end cap side with chop saw
