i got a problem where i like to overbuild everything. so i wanna reinforce this bitch while its bare. anyone have any experience breaking them where are the weak points, if any?

saw someone on here that welded plates from top rail to bottom loop, so i think i might start there.

 

they don't.


but if you'd like do it where the lower motor mount loop connects near the neck.. tdub post pictures

Mine kept cracking on the left side where the loop is welded to the neck area.

 

i just had plates welded in the bottom loop. send me ur email and i can send u some pics cause i dont no how to post pics on hear.

i figured the rear of the bottom loop(top motor mount) would be the weak point, but you guys are sayin neck, good thing i asked.

Nothin against Cory's bling polish job, (and it does work cause i've seen him slam that thing and its still kickin) ...But, I got a 929 front end on my F4i and I've been on it for two + years with no cracking on the frame and no reinforcement. I think the 929 forks bein inverted just help a little more. Its a pricey alternative to welding **** on the frame but it works and you're not eliminating the possibility to re-sell the frame later to some squid who wouldn't know that its been stunted.... I don't think one way is better than the other, just another idea.

 

i've seen a squid put a crack on both sides of the neck.
