stunt alone?
Re: stunt alone?
At one of our spots that now is off limits thanks to some dumb asses the security (who used to let us stunt there) came and found a guy by himself unconscious...from what I heard he was actually out cold for hours.
Also when I crashed and snapped my forearm I was by myself....picked the bike up with one arm...turned up the idle...and rode idle all the way to one of my friends houses. O_o

Re: stunt alone?
ive got no one to ride with.. the one guy i rode with looped and sold his bike, the other fucked off because he was a ***** and didnt want to hurt his bike so he sold his cage and bar and bought pazzo levers and chrome covers.. so i dont really talk to him
I try.. but honestly i lack motivation.
It's mostly because im a supersquid, but i also feel like im the slowest learner out there.
When i barely got started i'd ride alone if nobody wanted to and i got the itch, but now they're like "nah lets smoke a bowl" and im down for the count.
blame canada!

well guys i jsut got off the Ph with Brian.... he decided to break the only real rule of stunting and headed out by himself today. and he is now paying the price.... (his words, not mine)
he was at our "other" road having a play when he bought it back for a 12 scrape... he scraped the bar but as he was bringing the wheelie back from the bar, his left foot slipped off the rear peg and his leg hit the ground. and he isnt sure, but he reckons it was the number plate, he needs surgery on his leg.
the number plate has almost removed his whole calf muscle  he is in Freo hospital now and about to talk to a surgeon. he is in awesome spirits (as per usual :P ) considering the damage he has done
but get this.... here's how much of a hardcore **** he is
:
he had to walk 600m holding his left leg together with his hands... then tie a dropsheet around his leg. drive the car and trailer back to where the bike was.... pick the bike up, tie it onto the trailer and then drive 25kms home (manual car, left leg busted) and then get to Freo hospital after all that
:saluteaus: ******* legendary effort :showoff:
so, you can ring him now (those with his number) he is awaiting a surgeon for his options. but in conclusion (from Brian and myself)
DONT STUNT ALONE!!! PLEASE!

Re: stunt alone?
I ride alone for many reasons:
1. there is like 3 stunters in Zagreb and we all live in different part of ZG
2. most of my friends don't ride bikes at all
3. I'm more focused on learning new tricks and practicing old stuff
sometimes I wish there is someone with me there so at least we can talk when I take break but u get use on it.

Gsxr 600
I have recently purchased an gsxr 600. I'm use to riding a cbr1000 back in south carolina. I live in colorado now where the altitute affects the power. The bike is laking power to stand up. Is it just the bike? not enough power, is there something I can change?
Re: stunt alone?
unless you live around other very dedicated people you have to ride alone. it's rare that you find anyone else who rides more than once a week and once a week doesn't cut it anymore.
Re: stunt alone?
exactly! i like riding every day. thats how you get better! plus i enjoy bieng out in a lot with noone else around so i got no pressure and i can just do whatever i want without fear of gettin hit by someone else flyin past me.
Re: stunt alone?
got to ride everyday
I personally see a lot more improvement riding 15 minutes a day, then I do riding 5 hours once a week
I stunt at LEAST 15 minutes a day, everyday, unless its raining
Re: stunt alone?
**** that, i ride in the rain unless its pouring. i just dont do tank **** or jumping too the pegs where i could slip easier. if i ride every day i will just get more consistent, plus i learn fast so i try to atleast get something new every day. thats 7 new tricks a week lol

I tried stunting in the rain, **** THAT. Only thing I do in the rain are BASIC SS's, and sit downs
I busted my *** twice so far on staggard's in the rain
Re: stunt alone?
yea they were stock painted rear pegs, but i am usually standing on the mounting tab part of the bracket instead of the peg. bike has a subcage now but i havent ridden with that in the rain yet. severe thunderstorm warning for tonight after 4pm so i think that might change lol
in the rain i pretty much just do ss, rl, or foot on seat circles. then throw in no throttle hand stuff and all the tricks are brand new but the same body position for the most part.
