Question needed or not?

recently I found a great deal on a minty 04' R6 so i bought it. i dont plan on doin any slow lot type stuff (no skills) on the bike, just the occasional long highway wheelie. d the R6 need an oil pick-up or over fill the oil any or am i all good with the stock set-up and oil amount?

Re: needed or not?

It would be best to put an oil pick up anyways if there's one for the bike. You don't need to slow wheelie a bike to blow a motor.

Re: needed or not?

They don't make an oil pickup. You'll have to buy the brackets to turn your motor around so the pickup is in the back when doing wheelies

Re: needed or not?

Don't know if I have this right but I've heard that the GSX-R's have a big problem with oil starvation when your 12'd for a while. Did I hear right?
