03 gix 6 12 bar?

i am about to start building the 12 bar for my gixxer. does anybody have pics of how they did theirs or any advice on bracing the sucker?

01-03 gsxr's have the worst subframe to frame mounting points. When I had mine back in the day I actually poked holes in the frame to secure the 12bar to subframe to frame. Those tabs will break if you even look at them wrong. If I could do it again I would probably find a tig welder to reinforce the upper and lower frame - subframe mounting tabs. Good luck.

if your gonna run a 12 bar you should brace off the sub frame down to your rear sets with a strap cause you barely touch that thing and your sub is gonna snap.......I would think twice about runnin one but thats just my opinion

i happen to be a tig welder so thats what im trying to figure out. brace at the base of the sub?
