triumph problems?

triumph problems?
I know its a long shot but does anyone know anything about triumphs?
My friend has a 97 t595i and cant get it running.
Seems to be the fuel pump isnt coming on and theres no spark, but it cranks fine.
wierd bikes, just trying to help him out, and we are stumped
Im assuming there is a relay or someting that might be out. Bike sat for a while.
