Well i posted up a about a week ago with the exhaust landing on my leg and burnt the **** out of me....well a week pasted by and it ended up getting pretty badly infected so i ended up getting admitted to the hospital....well i just got out of my first surgery....they cleaned it up pretty good and found out some mre about it...

so here it is...i was originally told it was 2nd degree burns...well they were mostly 3rd degree...the infection for the most part is gone still a little there tho....but the bad part is...at the end of the week i have to come back and have a skin graff done...so that's what i know so far

they got my legged all wrapped up now so i can't take any pictures to show everyone...but if i find out more if anyone cares i'll let yall know..

actually brother leaving it dry and everything is what landed me here in the hospital and having surgery.....cuz thats what i did i left it dry and open and my doctor told me that is the wrong way to do it now...it needs to be wrapped and cleaned once a day

 

i never got to leave... i was admitted saturday night....

 

that sucks man, i got second degree burns on both my forearms years ago. i just remember goin to the doctor and him shaving my arms to get the hair out of the burns. lets just say a razor on a burn does not feel too good. anyway, i've been there, maybe not quite as bad as yours, but i feel ya bro. just do what the doctor says and in a while you'll never even know it happened. pain killers don't hurt either !lol!

I would cause an epic scene while beating the pipe that did that into a million peices. Sorry to hear your injury to have only got worse, I read the first post. Good luck with the surgery

 

Damn that ****** sucks...next time you should get some header exhaust heat wrap and wrap it around your muffler and piping. Would it look ugly? yup...but yeah you could imagine the advantages.

 

lol ya i will when i get back....i actually hear there is still some skin stuck on the pipe so that should be intersting to see lol.....

Did you have the stock exhaust cut down? Cause I know I had that and it was dangerously hot like way beyond normal.. That sucks man

 

ya it was the stock pipe....
