Mounted my bars but no room for a stabilizer...need advice

How do you guys have urs set up? I just mounted some dirtbike bars onto my bike and i noticed im not gonna have enough room for a GPR stabilizer. What are my options? Does anyone sell special triple trees made for db bars and a stabilizer, if so link me.

if you already have a GPR, all you need to do is adjust your risers... my 954 front end had a GPR on it with dirt bars... just taller risers and spaced properly...

a damper only comes into play when your rolling 300ft + at medium speeds.

believe me... i roll close to 200 all day long w/ no damper and not even a hint of wobble.... ever. If your hittin power stoppies from 80mph then maybe i see where your commin from.

IF YOU HAVE DIRT BARS they're even easier w/ no damper!!!

Hey... you comming out for the april 5th street ride w/ everyone???

my distance is not on the table right now... the general concensus is to have a stabilizer for that extra "insurance"... whether he "really needs it" or not wasn't the issue...

truthfully I thought you were just fucking with him so I figured I'd return the favor... lol

Edit: and just because I've only been on here since Feb doesn't mean I've only been riding since Feb... I don't claim to be badass... I don't hate... but if I have help to offer, I will give it...

Yea... i was fucking w/ him... but only because I've been rolling stoppies long enough to know that you only need a damper if you're power stoppie-ing from 100mph.... OR rolling longer than 300 or so feet.... which I KNOW he IS NOT.

I have a damper.... but don't need to turn it up yet cause I can only roll about 300ft max (from about 45-60mph).

Once I get going faster, then it will come in handy... BUT until then, it's pretty much a complete waste of money.

The options I know of are:

- the GPR db mount pictured above

- Fullthrottle db clip-ons >>>click here<<<

- Convertibars http://www.convertibars.com

- a side or front mount shock style (like Nags said) such as Ohlins, Hyperpro, etc...there are many
