ha any pun intended on the word tweek?

We bend the bracket a little bit but you can hear a scraping noise. None of the bolts are scraping. Im guessing its the cable. Anyone have a picture of how they bent the bracket?

haha, no, no pun intended. if you look at where the actual cable comes out on the bottom you'll probly notice that the cable is rubbing on the threaded part where you adjust it(down below), just bend the bracket till the cable stop rubbing.

Re: F4i clutch arm mod... weld-less version.

sweet.............

i'm gonna try this on my 900rr. i when i put a msr pro raptor on my 636 it was great no more hurting or tired fingers/hands, i just got a 900rr and put one one there and it helped, but i need more. even with a msr pro raptor on it and its still just as hard if not harder to pull than my 636 was stock.
and yes, its on the right setting (bottom closest to the bars).

i'm gonna try this this weekend, luckily i found this thread b/c i was about to try that moose clucht pully system garbage.

extending it a 1/2" should be good?????

before you do the mod, check to see if the cable is rubbing on the threaded part at the bottom adjustment. i put a moose lever on my 900 and it didn't seem to make much of a difference, until i found out my cable was rubbing and that was the whole problem.

Re: F4i clutch arm mod... weld-less version.

you can also just lengthen your clutch lever by welding an extension onto the end if you dont wanna do this mod and it works the same. Ive seen MSR's and Moose's that are an inch longer than when they are brand new and it is like warm butter.

Any way to do this with the motor still in the frame? I guess you'd just pull the cover...?
