So if your a bigger person like 6 foot 200 plus pounds a cut down 12 bar would be better,but if your 5 foot 5in and 140 pounds a hole in the seat would be more comfortable?From what I have seen smaller people with there foot in the bar look sort of funny cuz there eyes hardly make it over the windscreen but with foot in seat they look more appropriate.
So is it a matter of comfort or control?From what everyone is saying you have more control with foot in seat being "on top of the bike" but others are uncomfortable and move there foot down an extra 6 inches to the 12 bar,they loose a little control but are in there happy place.

I'm 5'10".....5'11" if I really stretch and am in the right shoes...lol...but I feel better with my foot in seat....I'm pushin 250lbs as well, fwiw

Are there many people with the 05, 06 636's cutting up their seats? I want to, but it doesn't look like there is a lot of toe room with the little trunk space...
