I do but I dont have time or the money it takes to make them during the sumer, but thats over now so I'll be makin a batch soon enough over the winter...I have to dump like $3-4000 into materials, water jet cutting, and welding to make a batch of them...Last winter I made about 40 and it took untill about a month ago to sell them all and get my money back...

Lots of intrest Pm's, Emails, posts, etc but alot of people dont seem to trust sending their moeny to some guy in Canada....I havent heard one compliant from anyone that did buy one though

They were $250, and even though our dollar is now 1-1 and Im going to be loosing big Id keep the price the same...

I'll get back to you on the time frame, havent been to my machinest in a while...So I need to check with him if I have any of my plate material left over for him to cut parts out for me...It only take me about a week to make one once I have the parts...

Thanks! Im glad your happy with it....Only thing Id suggest is a new windscreen, looks a little funny with a double bouble. ...OEM or close to OEM shape would match that cross bar arch much better......

Or maybe even some translucent red powder coat, to give it a candy red look...Im going to try anodizing some the next run I do...I found an anodizer just down the road and the pricing has been reasonable so far...

No but I finally got a bike(with OEM full fairings) at my shop to build it off of, its an 03/04 but they use the same OEM stay and headlight as the 05/06 so it should be the same....I dont really have the time to get on it till after November though, Ive got a new CNC machine comming in on the 19th and I need at least 2 weeks to get that up and running before I can start working on other projects...Come Dec Im going to put all my spare time into 600RR and 05/06 636 stays, I just got a 05/06 636 in aswell finally....

Winter is the only time I really have the time and access to peoples bikes to do this, if I were in FL or Cali Im sure it would be alot easier to borrow someones bike for 2 weeks...

Oh I have a question for you 600RR guys too! The OEM stay only goes up to the mirror mounts then they have a little metal bracket that goes to the 2nd windscreen bolt down from the top of the windscreen...So how far up should I go with where I would put the cross bar? I was thinking of going up to that windscreen bolt, but thats alomst 6" off the top...

How much windscreen would you guys be willing to cut off? I dont like to go too far becasue that makes the tube rally long, and gives alot of leverage to bent it....

Just went and looked... im thinkin that second windscreen bolt or a little higher (and inch or so) would be nice...

anyone else with an opinion on this?

JohnnyP, new challege for you... utilizing a two pirece design with mutiple hole mounting points, make the height ADJUSTABLE! LOL that would be SIIIIICK!!! Kinda like vortex rearsets...

Changing the length isnt too big of a deal and I can and have done it, and its easier for me to make differnt lengths then to make it adjustable....Drastic's is different then the standard lenght ones(its shorter), and it only took me a couple days to get his made. Some people with street bikes dont want a cross bar and Ive done that aswell...

Like I mentioned once I have the plate parts it doesnt take too much time for me to assemble and have them welded...And I can make slight changes like length, cross bar, no cross bar, etc...I need to design a standard one first, and Im bored today and Ive got BIBOs bike in my office so Im gonna start mocking it up right now....You can thank BIBO for trying to change his clutch plates himself and fucking everything up, thats why I have his bike to build off of...

Thanks I polished the parts before dropping them off for red anodizing, and that gives them more of a glossy/candy color....Without the polishing you get that dull red anodize...

That just looks nasty!

So i would have to polish the parts first?

What did you use to polish down in the 90 degree area's and holes?
