OFFICIAL RYAN S PROGRESS THREAD, Benifit Ride, AND GELL WELL MESSAGES - Stunt Discussion

For those of you that don't know Ryan S, he has been bound and determined to make SportBike Freestyle as big as possible since early 2002. He has been in the game for quite some time and has accomplished some really big adventures in the last 6 years. He has traveled to China 6 times with people from our team, and he even brought over Tony L this year also to perform at the Shanghai MotoGP Championship. He has traveled to Indonesia once, Malaysia once and Singapore twice ALL to promote sportbike stuntriding. Ryan is one of the few American stuntriders that has devoted his heart and hard work into this sport, stuck with it and never given up. Lots of our dreams are his realities. Last week when I heard about the accident, I feared the worst. Ryan is going to be ok, but I'm sure he will be devastated with the changes he will have to make in the future. His friends and family are doing a tremendous job of moral support and I'm sure it will mean a lot to him when he wakes up.

I want to thank everyone that has shown support since the accident. Thank you to Tony L for flying up here and for setting up WWW.HELPRYANS.COM We have raised almost $875 in just a 3 days. THANK YOU to everyone that has donated! Odd enough, the day of Ryan's accident, was also his last day of work. He was working for the Department of Natural Resources and lost his job due to his bad driving record. So all of the financial support is going to be well appreciated.

BENIFIT RIDE INFO:
When: Saturday October 20th - 12:00 noon
Where: Hubbs Powersports, Janesville WI (Hwy 26 between Janesville and
Milton)
Not sure 100% yet, we might have a stunt show at a nearby town. Details are still yet to come. But the ride IS A GO. Bring your everyone you can and show some support for someone that has put his heart and soul into our sport. There will also be a cook out afterwards.

Ryan's Condition:
AS of today WENDS OCT 10th 11am
Ryan is in stable condition. He is still heavily sedated but is making great progress. He is able to open his eyes and acknowledge people by squeezing their hand or raising an eyebrow. Neurology has cleared him and said there is no longer blood on his brain which is fantastic. All of the Dr's are very pleased with his progress. He will hopefully be off the Ventilator within the next 48 hours. Once the ventilator is taken out, he wont have to be so heavily sedated. Yesterday he had a surgery to complete the femur break and also finish the amputation so that Ryan can wear a prosthesis. I think he has one more surgery left on his leg after yesterdays procedures.

We are going to print off everyone's messages and make a book to show Ryan that everyone cares and is rooting for him. THANK YOU FOR ALL THE SUPPORT.

As of this morning... have taken Ryan's Ventilator breathing tube out.. So he is now breathing on his own. Great NEWS!
