I have a 12 bar on my 02 gsxr 600 i get to bp and back but still not hitting 12 bar i recorded myself and still about 4- 6 from it. My bar is only about a inch off rear fairing. could i have got the wrong one and its too short. Or does anyone have pics of what theres look like.

Your tail hang alot futher over the wheel, than my bike. The end of the bar is even with the end of the tire.

you wont it short so it doesnt hit when you circle

 

I'm guessing your getting it close but just not close enough. If you got your rear brake control down (which I'm guessing you do) then just keep going back further and further until it scrapes.

 

grow some wambas and scrape it.....i had to cut like 3 inches off the tail on my old bike for my bar and i didn't have any problems draggin it

 

Have your buddy help you push it up onto the bar(bike in gear) and then sit on the thing and go "braaaaap........sssktttchhhh...." and you will get a better idea of how it feels to back that far.
