I had a 05 gix1000 and I'd say it was def. worth the money switching to the brembo.

kinda what I was wondering. I know when I bled my 636 radial and put my dual caliper set-up on, it was plenty strong but REALLY touchy!!!

Re: how is the 16x18 supposed to feel?

I took the advice on bleeding the banjo bolts and master itself and it did let some air out and it feels better now. Even on the lowest setting I can barely pull it within an inch of the grip.

I haven't been able to ride it because I'm having this gay problem with a rotor the guy I bought the bike from put on. It isn't a stock F4i rotor and it's too thin so the stock mounting bolts bottom out before they clamp the rotor to the wheel. It moves side to side when i touch it and has about 1/4 inch of play between the bolts and the wheel.

I will get a stock F4i rotor tomorrow and put it on and take the bike out and see how it feels.

Re: how is the 16x18 supposed to feel?

I tried alot of hand brakes even owned a Brembo 16X18 when it comes down to it I will have to say a 05 or newer GSXR works just as good as my Brembo did plus the GSXR is cheaper!

The thread below show my post on the Brembo I sold Old thread 05-29-2006 before we came out with our dual set-ups.
