Re: wsba tour points standing

maybe i should read the rules a little better!! haha

do i have to compete in sickest trick too? if stoppie counts towards points, then you should have to use the same bike for all contests...since it is the most well rounded rider, not the rider with the most well rounded assortment of specialty bikes.

i aint worried though! haha

bubash was killing it all weekend and is def on the come up, but i have many tricks yet! lol

yeah i feel you on the bike thing..cause that stoppie killer he had was a ringer ... either way he killed it... but i want to take a vote on here...if you guys think you should use the same bike for the whole comp except sickest trick let me here what you got to say...cause quite a few cats are using different bikes for different events... i for one am for using one bike... and the vice president of the league thought the same...so far 2 votes for same bike

Re: wsba tour points standing

if you're going to have to use the same bike for stoppie, then you should have to use it for sickest trick too.

personally, i think sickest trick has nothing to do with being well rounded at all. bubash did the same trick for sick trick that he did in his run...if you wanna be well rounded you gotta pretty much do the sickest tricks in every category in indy freestyle. you dont necessarily have to have the sickest trick per se to be the most well rounded rider out there.

stoppie is a little different in my opinion...not really sure why. having one bike for stoppie is not that big a deal, more imperative for things like starboyz event which includes fastest wheelie. my normal stunt setup is as good as anything for stoppies, and mitch adams proves that size/gearring/bars dont really matter. buuuut, i'm still for one bike for everything.

either way, i am down. i'll just enter sick trick next time...like i said before, I've forgotten more than bubash knows! lol buddy

how do the points break down anyways, as far as how much each category counts?

Re: wsba tour points standing

i here you but the system is made to make the chase for the title interesting so if someone has a less the perfect showing in indv free style... they can make it up in stoppie and so on...here is the link for the points breakdown http://www.6thgearinc.com/rules.html

SAME BIKE FOR EVERTHING ,HAVE`N DIFFERENT BIKES FOR SPECIFIC EVENTS IS MORE LIKE HAVE`N DEEP POCKETS THAN BE`N WELL ROUNDED

Re: wsba tour points standing

to be a well rounded rider i feal you have to push the envelope and sickest trick shows who is attempting to do so. soon dragging your foot and jump to highchair will be standard in a freestyle run.

Re: wsba tour points standing

i agree.. and i think sickest trick should be a trick that you normally don't land or something you would not try in individual freestyle cause it may ruin your run ... so like you said push the envelope

Re: wsba tour points standing

i also think sickest trick should be at the end of the first day..cause if your sickest trick is in your indv run the crowd has already seen it by the end of the show...kinda kills the suspense if the seen it a few times

deep pockets or not you still have to pratice on each bike just like i would have to pratice on my one bike. only advantage bubash could have gained from the 1000 was speed but it was aonly a 150 ft approach.
