Re: 954rr

I actually have been researching it cause I want one for street and stunt. Nothing but good things about this bike. Heard its little twitchy compared to 929 but both pull good idle and its honda, so you cant really go wrong.

Re: 954rr

i have had two 954's. they are great for killin the streets. they are pretty good for the lot as well, but a 636 or f4i would be easier. i have a 636 now and it is alot more stable in the lot(for me atleast). but there are alot of people out there who can kill the lots with the 954/s as well.

Re: 954rr

their great bikes.....gear it right and you wont have a single problem with it in the lot.....if you think about it, it has less horse and power then most of the new 600's and people dont think about that.....

Re: 954rr

a few of my buddies have one and absolutely love it.....i rode it a few times and had a lil deal with the twitchiness cuz i'm used to riding 600's but if you're used to liter bikes then you should be in good shape.......hondas are very solid

Re: 954rr

i believe the 954 is 139 peak HP and 63 peak torque, the strongest 600, the 05-06 636 is something like 114 peak HP and 49 peak torque, both stock,

Re: 954rr

not sure about the 954 but i now have a 929 with a stock+5 setup. Its a lot twitchier than my old f4 (-1+13). Its do-able though, after a few session on the 929 I was right at home, and since my bike needs to be street for commuting and lot, i think the 929/954 is choice.

However, if you are going hardcore, all in, ***** out,... go 600. The Honda RR or the 636 is a more solid investment.

Re: 954rr

I think its a good idea, my girl just got hit on my 954 and it looks like the azzhole that caused the accident has a decent insurance company thats gonna cut me a healthy check :YEAH so now instead of fixing it back up to good looking street standerds i'm gonna rip it apart, cage it, and finnally have a dedicated stunt bike that i don't care about rather then being ******* carefull all the time because my bikes are my daily riders (no car). if you hear of a deal on a cage and 12 bar let me know.

Re: 954rr

The 954 is supposed to be Boss for rolling endo's! Alot of people with the F4i switch the front end to a 929 or 954 front end because there alot better for rolling endo's. If you get a god deal on it I say get it, but an F4i will be easier to learn.

Re: 954rr

I got a 929 and love it. My dream bike is a 954. These guys know what there talkin about with 600s. 600s are key if yur trying to go all out stuntin. I do it on my 929 and I know people that do it with 954s but you gotta be able to muscle around the weight and have great throttle control. Im gunna be investing in a f4i or 600rr soon cuz I dont care who you are, their are some stunts you just cant do as good and smooth on the liter bikes.

Re: 954rr

man i have a 954 love it... i have had it since march 05.... used it for the street= badass.... wrecked turned it into a stunt bike and daily joy bike.. yea its a honda tough tough tough.. couldnt tell you how many time i have wrecked bad and the bike has gone through it... atleast the bare nuts and bolts not the plastics or headlight especially. man get it hard to learn to stunt i on i know cause im still trying to learn.... but great stoppie bike love it for that... besides that you might want to invest in a subframe not the strongest unless you re-re-re-enforce
