I've heard about that a lot with the 636s, but I've never seen it until now. I knew a couple guys with 636s that had their forks replaced under warranty several times because they kept blowing seals. Both of those guys were just street cruisers, no stunting at ALL, bikes were always on two wheels.

****, it's not like Kawi makes the forks, aren't all the 600s running a similar type of Showa? Why are they known for failing on the 636?

03-04 636 forks = kyb units

05-06 = showa units (which are used on alot of honduhs)

but ive heard similiar stories of it happening to the 05-06s...

i just replaced my forks legs today under warranty. if you pay attentions to the fork leg it will start leaking and become lose at the bottom by the casting thats about when you should stop rolling stoppies on them
