umm..ya it does, but those forks taper and the angle it's at looks funny cause you can't see anything but the shadow on the rear....i double checked them and even looked at my good bike and it looks bent at a certain angle when you can't see both tapered sides.

a bend like that would be noticable when i drive it. it wouldn't let the fork compress, but it seems to ride fine.

Sounds to me like the sliders worked just fine. Considering how much a case cover would cost you.

u know what works really good over ur case covers put like a padding over it and tuck it inside ur plastic. It doesnt look the best but I swear it works dropped my bike over 20 times and it worked like a champ..U still need sliders for ur pegs though
like what kind of padding? i'm going to use devcon on them as soon as i can get some from my friend. that **** is indestructable. and also, what do you mean sliders for my rear pegs? let me in on some of these tricks the pros use.

and yes, the slider helped a little but it kinda just snapped as soon as it hit the ground cause you see hte slider hit and the engine case took a chunk out of the road in the same place. I just got lucky on the engine case.

Ryan S is a decent person
you must have crashed damn hard to crack one of my sliders in half, if you send me the broken slider i'll replace it for free

you put a dent in the pavement...it wouldn't have mattered if you had a 300 dollar cage on that bike, stuff would still have broken

oh yeah...my sliders weren't designed to be dropped on 12's, they were designed for burnouts/endo's and low speed stuff, you can't design something to take a 500 pound hit at 20 mph...i did drop mine on a 12 2 weeks ago and i only bent the bolt...every crash is different though...I'll replace it for free

hey thanks cbrorange. i wasn't trying to convey a bad image about your product. Like i said before they are perfect for smashing up your bike, but not quite the best for 12 damage. I planned on buying some for my show bike anyways cause if i crash that it won't be anything crazy like 12's.

the crash pics and stuff are up on the site:
www.terrehaters.com

i'll PM you cbrorange.

oh ya, about the rear peg things, how do i keep the peg from folding up when i'm standing on it doing a 12? I think that might have been what happened....not quite sure, but a good possibility.

for the impact that you hit the ground speed and everything you should be hapy the only thing that broke was ryans (cbrorange's) sliders that slider took the brunt of your force when you hit the ground if not for that slider you would have really f-ed some **** up i wouldn't be bitching about those sliders

i have seen ryan and other guys take some HARD dumps on that bike and those sliders hold up awsome. which would you have break a 40$ part (not sure on price cuz i don;t have any i could give a **** less about my bike) or be replacing a 150$ 200$ cover?????????

anyways glade to hear your all right hope you get the bike up and going soon and better luck next time

Don't think a first time attempt gone bad qualifies you as this....lol, but glad to see he made it out OK! Definately learn brake control before you do hurt yourself worse! I cant scrape yet but I am learning to slow my roll and I know it will just be a matter of time!

Yep - thats how I learned to 12. Learn to slow wheelie 1st w/ brake control. That way when you start dipping it way back you are in 100% control, and once you hit - you can tap the brake & ride it away. Not to mention slow wheelies look the bomb.

ya, the 12 pimp thing was one of my friends and team mates, he was just giving me crap about it when he said that.

and yes, i want to work on my slow wheelies before scraping, i'm having trouble with that. hopefully this weekend CBO with help me master the slow wheelie cause i think those are tight. especially when you get good and do circles and no handers.
