Re: rear hand break

dual caliper is the best you can cover both at once and it has a good feel.

the lowdown on fullthrottle inc.
i own the full blown setup. 410 bucks i paid for it.

asv levers are garbage. waste of money there.
the 636 master that it comes with is garbage compared to a radial or literbike master.
and he claims the line is the shit because the ends are adjustable so it dont kink. i've never heard of anybodys line getting twisted or kinking.
the actual rear unit itself is nothing more than a cnc machined dual fitting.
you can buy a fitting for cheap as hell and it works just as good.
i've been using my setup for quite some time now, and ridden with other peoples setups and they feel way better. for the price you pay for a full throttle setup you can get a pimped out brembo 16x18 with a goodridge steel line and an adapter for your stock rear master. and its a million times better.
not to mention you've still got some money left over for an msr easy pull clutch lever, which is like butter.

Dave,

If someone else's set up feels better it's because of the handlebar mounted master cylinder. At the time you bought your kit I felt the 14mm master was a good combination of value (mind you I was selling them at cost, so it only added $95 to the price of your kit) and reliablility with a reasonable amount of power and feedback. The ASV lever was included with the kit because of it's durability. I still stand by that even though I don't offer either of those products on my site. I'm now of the opinion that handlebar mounted masters are readily available and at this time are up to the individual to source what will best fit his riding tastes and budget. As far as your issues on cost, I put the basic rearmaster cylinder kit together to be without compromise. That means using premium lines, banjo bolts and rear master. I can buy another line and cut $20 there, use steel banjo bolts and save a few dollars there, but that is not what the kit is about. It's not for everyone, it's serving a particular customer. There are plenty of people that have felt using a slide in adaptor was a compromise and have upgraded so apparently it must have some merit.

Re: rear hand break

full throttles arent worth the money they do the same thing as a gp tech valve. but the valve is like 1/6th of the cost of a full throttle.

Re: rear hand break

We've gone over this 1000 times, you can buy gptech and all the bullshit and jerry it all up, but Full throttle has no problems, no issues, bolt on and go. The GP shit I've seen is always janky. Considering how much I trust my handbrake I wont use anything but Bills setup, it's just now woth it.

Re: rear hand break

The 05 is radial. Its probably stronger and takes up less room.
