Is Crashing A Sign Of Progress Or Is It Saying U ****?

IDK...ive been crashin alot lately but only on tricks on im learnin and its kinda fun just 15 min ago i was practicing learning coasters and came to a stop while wheeling so as i approaced to stop i "hit" the back brake and instead of leaning down i leened back...lol so the bike ended up on me and now i have a bad headache luckly the handlebars didnt hit my face and i belevie my rim might be bent its hard to tell cuz i cant tell if its bent or the front fender

Well...it sounds like progress to me because it happened while you were pushing yourself and learning new tricks.

If you're not wreckin, you arent trying hard enough....

I usually say this to people after they see me wreck, makes me feel a little better

no one hasn't crashed every trick they've tried to learn!

I know i totaled 3 or 4 bikes learning to clutch out of spreader scrapes with no hand brake, comming in HOT & getting the wabbles!

Re: Is Crashing A Sign Of Progress Or Is It Saying U ****?

it all depends. if your busting your ass braking bone constintly and 1 year later your in the same place. maby then its time to rethink. if your get it down eventuly then its progression.

you can learn just fine and never crash bro, don't think that its a rite of passage its not
the only time you have to crash is doing circles, theres no way around that s.hit

Re: Is Crashing A Sign Of Progress Or Is It Saying U ****?

I've been crashing a lot lately, well.. not "crashing" as such.. but I'm learning idle (pretty much got it consistantly today! finally.. just need to practice it some more) and every now and then I bring it too far back and scrape accidentally.. not prepared for it so step off and usually park bike on the bar then bring it down.. but today I was pushing myself a bit more and a few times I scraped a bit wonky, didn't catch the clutch and just dropped the bike....

luckily I've not properly crashed/flipped a wheely yet, just stepping off from scrapes but I'm sure im going to hurt myself when I try to learn coasters!!

Crashing is a fast way to learn, so as long as you see progress after crashing on tricks then at least you are learning.. makes crashing worthwhile.....

p.s I don't know why people complain about Freestyle Ing. cages.. mines holding up brilliant, not broken anything on the bike yet and I've dropped it from 12 pretty hard a few times now.....
