Reckless Driving Ticket

Does anyone have any good or clever ways to get out of a reckless driving ticket? I got a reckless ticket for a third gear seat stander, going about 40-45 in a 45. I waited for all the traffic to be clear and I have all my legal stuff for driving on the road. I got a plea bargain but it was $500 fine, $150 driving class, and 3 month suspension of my license. There has to be a way to get it lowered or something.

Re: Reckless Driving Ticket

My lawyer got my reckless reduced to driving with an obstructed view (non moving violation). I think he did it by capitalizing on the fact that the court officials didn't know chit about wheelies etc... I got my second reckless thrown out of court by proving that I put a new clutch on my bike the day before and I was "testing" it out and inadvertantly popped a wheelie.

Re: Reckless Driving Ticket

I had driving to endanger but the D.A. threw it out 4 days after I got it because the cop was a douchebag and didnt know what the hell he was doing. Have you tried contacting your D.A. yet?

Re: Reckless Driving Ticket

I just took a plea deal on my wreckless charge ( which the cop wrote up and issued a warrant for my arrest as I was being loaded into the ambulance ......... **** ) . But anways they gave me a deal where if someone looks up my record it says I have a case pending for trial in a year, and if I dont get arrested in the next year then the whole thing is dropped and goes away, but if I get arrested then I get automatic misdemenor wreckles driving on my record. Which is still better than the original charge of Felony wreckless endangerment. But my accident report reads nice hehehe
