r6 front brake? - Stunt Discussion

i have a 01 r6 and the front brake like squeezes to a point then gets really hard and then i squeeze it more and its like max pressure to the front brakes... theres no easing it in.. its just no brakes, hard lever, then tight squeeze.... this happen to anyone else

my 03 did that, those prakes are crap. swap to a 05 front end, it has a radial brake perch.

check to see if the brake lever is cracked... i have an 01 r6 and mine did the very same thing. I had a radial crack on the brake lever. You couldn't see unless you removed the lever. Hope that helps

yeah r6 brakes ****. i'd suggest a new radial master and rebuild ur calipers.

thats harsh to say, but they do end up sucking on the pre-radial gens.

mine did the same on my 02. i tride lots of different master's and it just felt like crap. i was going to rebuild calipers but i sold the bit ch

ya.. i'll check the lever hopefully thats it but i would have no idea how it would have cracked.. thats my minty bike

its 5 years old now.... doesnt matter how minty it is. my 03 went bad in 05, and so i changed it to a newer 05 front end. like i said the radial mount is the shizzz:YEAH
