crash does equal excitment.. but out of all the runs in competions a crash is more likely to happen when a guy is coming in to land from 40 foot air instead of doing a circle wheelie going 2mph a hour right?

EXACTLY my point!

watch CP or AC farius. the SMALL amount of time they DO do circles, they are either REAL tight fast sitdown, or no handed.

the really technical slow circle tricks will only impress those who know exactly what's going on.

CP puts on a hell of a show.. but his runs are like 10 15 and he switches up bikes..

the fame and sucess of FMX has to do with the fact that motocross racing was already starting to make it, when FMX came onto the scene.

FMX started as the racers just doing tricks if they won a race.

if you had a bunch of motoGP racers stunting F4i's after a race, you beat your ass stunting would be bigger.

Pete stunting has its roots in roag racing then by that rational...

and raod racing has been around forever too...

AND you DO see Motogp guys doing stunts after races. I have a picture of Rossi doing a ralph louie on his 250hp honda

yes they do "stunt"

but on average, it's a power wheelie. or a power seat stander, or a power raplh louie.

you don't see them rolling +500 foot stoppies on the striaght away, or busting fast circles.
