Progress
I don't think anyone knows for sure how much time it will take. What you def. do not want to do is rush yourself, that's how you end up hurt. I'll give you an example:
For the longest, I could not do a stoppie, and I was getting fustrated, but I forced myself to just take it one day at a time. Well, one sunday morning, I did one, and now Im working on my height, and next rolling them. Everyone has a different rate of learning

I quit doing stoppies,I had it down pretty good but the thing I noticed was that if you diddnt roll them out they were beating the crap out of the bike but if you rolled them they wouldnt be so hard on it.Just cant get up the nerve to stoppie at 30 mph every time and my plastic was breaking aruond the bolts from not rolling them, like you said though maybe just a little more time.
yea, its different for everyone. i have been riding for a year and a half now and i am just starting to just some height on my stand ups. take your time and learn at your own pace man, it will come with time and practice.
if you dont want to beat on your bike, then dont do wheelies, endos, or drag tails or knees for that matter....
you cant have your cake and eat it too!!
do nothing half assed, either go for it and practice or dont.
