Wrecked the 929

OK help me with this one...Got a cage and **** and I had my first slow wheelie standing on the back peg wreck. Well The bike got ****ed up. Radiator pushed back the front upper smashed then something with the bushings or bearings in the steering part cause its loose and make a click noise when you hit the brakes. The gauge smashed. Now this was all at a slow speed. Shitty deal but now I have to get new front suspension and everything I think. Screw the upper but just shitty that the wreck was slow and all that happened. If anyone has parts or anything hit me up. Would like to be practing again soon. Only a little road rash not to bad though.

Re: Wrecked the 929

just take off your frontend and have the race for the lower bearing pressed on the stem and knock the race's out of the frame and put it all back together with new bearings and race's. I just had to do it on my 929 frontend cause it was all loose feeling and would make a loud clunking noise when I would hit the brake or set down a wheelie..

^awesome advice. a friend with an r6 has that popping noise and clunk also even when your just riding it. hard use and abuse is no doubt the cause but we were just talking about how to get rid of it or "tightening it up", i'll have to suggest this to him now. btw hope that 929's doin fine

Re: Wrecked the 929

What exactly do you need for your bike? I have a radiator and lots of other 929 parts. $50 bucks and the radiator is yours. let me know what other parts you need and i'll send you prices.
