Re: Opinion on PPL that have cages but dont stunt???

I've wanted a cage for my bike, I've just started to stunt and I dont want to crash my sh*t and ruin the only bike I got and then have to spend all summer fixing it, Like a friend of mines demonstrated.. but I'd never want a 12bar or HB if I couldnt use it.. to me those are more advanced parts for stunting, a cage on the other hand I belive to be a wise investment for anyone since they provide the most protection for the motor/frame. But to each his own...

true, but if you're gonna stunt 1200 exhaust usually isnt on the mod list. My friend who looped his 6rr did level out his $800 XIL twin pipes.. which was a shame, but like i said in my last post. TO EACH HIS OWN.

a shame that **** probly looked sick as ****....

i agree with what people are sayin on makin the industry get bigger... but also if its gets that much bigger theres gonna be more cops lookin for riders....and we already have enuf cops that hate.. i know i got the 12 bar on my bike and felt like a squid ridin to the spot.... but i also just say **** it and hit that ****... no reason for it if your not gonna use it... and if you plan on goin to a stunt spot or bike night with a brand new lookin 12 bar you look just as dumb as the squid doin whack *** lookin burnouts in the parking lot or pow pow power wheelies on his brand new bike...
my 2cents....

i think they should be aloud to go into the store to buy a cage , bar, handbrake, stickers , clip ons , grip tape etc , then when they leave the store they should be shot from the back and killed with thier **** jacked and the same cycle repeated for the next customer !

i guess id rather see a bunch of poser stuntriders than a bunch of poser dragracers....however...like it or not, if you front like you stunt, but you dont, you are a poser plain and simple.

and i fukking hate when people come up to me askin questions about my bike or how i ride,
mind your own business.
or google that ****

i'd say if they say there a stunter or something to that nature then they are posers.
however if they have a minty new bike theyr'e financed up to their eyes on, it will keep it minty if they drop it...alot more so then sliders.
and besides wouldn't you rather see that money going to a stunt based co. like power, freestyle,905 etc... than to anyone else?

A cage is one thing to save the engine. The 12 bar is gay if you are never gonna use it. I have a cage. No 12 bar. I do all tricks but scrape so I have no need for it. That is my opinion. It wont save a loop out. Like said before in this thread, It should only be used if it is controlled and on purpose.

It's gay, but it's flattery all the same...I say let anybody do whatever they want...and also, we all had to learn sometime...Bike setup is very helpful...that's for sure.

Re: Opinion on PPL that have cages but dont stunt???

I bought a cage, laid my bike down, bought a bar, scraped it, now I have a handbrake, gonna use it too.

I didn't "help" the industry as much as these "posers" either......my bar and handbrake were homemade, BUT my next bar and cage will be made by Controlled Insanity!

I got all of em with the intent to use them or knowing that it would help in a crash. I've had ahandbrake for quite awhiel because I got it for next to nothing so I set it up and its there. I'mplaying with it now and trying to get used to it, which isn't as easy as I thought it would be!

A cage is one thing, because everyone goes down at least once, I would say only get a 12 bar and handbrake if you have the intent to use it!

A 12 bar may give you 1/10000000000 of a second more to react if you go too far, but for people who aren't parking or at least slowing them down, its already too far gone by that point and they are gonna loop out! Their feet are prolly coming off the pegs if they haven't already left the bike by the time the bar hits!

i agree that any cage bought for no matter what reason is a good thing....as the saying goes any exposure is good exsposure....as far as the above stated quote though...those are the kind of ppl i cant stand..they should call the parts on their bikes "p-u-s-s-y parts" not "stunt parts" cause u know the only reason they got that **** on there is to try and attract tail...."yeah baby im a stunter wanna go for a ride".....what pathetic *****......hey and while im at it that goes for any loser that buys a bike for the sole reason to try and get p-u-s-s-y from it.......instead of spending 8 grand on a bike just go take "player" classes or something.....

I'll recommend a cage and 12 bar to anyone, I'll even offer to help install it. if they wanna put their hard earned money into the stunt industry... more power to em

I'd much rather see a n00b 12 bar and cage his bike up than lower it and add a swingarm extension.

save the hate fellas

Re: Opinion on PPL that have cages but dont stunt???

I can understand the cage if your learning...as long as you really are. 12 bar...well thats really iffy...Im putting a 12 bar on my 900 but thats because I need to get it fit and the tail was already cut down and **** for a bar sooo im not sure what else to do...but Im not claiming no 12 o'clocks.

Ive seen dudes with cages that they sent to the chromer...I seriously doubt they stunt since every thing else on their bike was chrome too and everything was immaculate...prob just threw the cage on their so they had something else to chrome. But hey I dunno maybe he does stunt.

Oh yea and the dudes who rock stunt bikes but dont stunt and do it for tail...***** whack...the fact that I own a bike and wanna stunt are usually the last thing Ill tell ppl...I like when ppl think I mean BMX riding when I say bike hahaha.
