To Participate in A Disaster Relief Stunt Show with All Proceeds From Major Sponsors Going Towards The Aid of Hurricane Katrina Survivors...

good idea, but you would probably raise more money by getting people to just stay at home and donate the money they would spend in gas getting there. Sorry to make a joke on a good hearted topic.. heh.. but its true.. and.. I couldnt resist.

we are prolly gonna do a show up here and talk to a ReDCross so they can set up a paypal account and have people donate to it...But I called alot of people and corporations and they are saying that it can be done...But we need to find enough people who will come...

Thats a really good idea.... I would be more than happy to ride a show for donation money....Maybe I will look into seeing if we could get something going like that here... Great idea!

Thanks Everybody...in consideration of those far away and dont have the gas money...im gonna go in on Monday and setup a paypal account...Im asking that when its up, everyone please donate at least $1....
But we are thinkin about throwin small shows in diff. states on the same day and then pooling the proceeds together and presenting it to the redcross on the same day...
This will also, we hope, open the eyes to those who dont understand what we do, that stuntin is not what we are ALL about, nah mean...
But I will keep everyone updated on a daily basis...Thanks Again FOr The Support...

would be good if someone could get the local news involved ahead of time to promote the event, 2 birds/one stone, gets more people there and more donations, but also puts the sport in everyone's faces and shows the stunters lending a hand the best way they know how!!!

I think if we all get togather we can make a diffrence. I am contacting the officials to get permission to hold a show at teh Houston Astrodome or Reliant Center. I need to know who is all willing to perticipate.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR RESPONCE!! I have a meeting TUesday with the RacePark Events Team to look at the amout of space we will need and get details togather! We are looking at the date of the 24th..I am looking into getting a local band and HOOTERS as well as BUDWEISER AND REDBULL to help. I have had support so far. All riders will be posted on flyers as well as anounced on loca radio stations by Friday. PLEASE LET ME KNOW <---- for those of you who have not contacted me. Look for more details Tuesday.
