Re: kickstand oil seal problems

check on the back of the motor
and make sure your crankcase hose isnt pinched or clogged
your kickstand seal?
shifter seal? countershaft seal?
could just be worn out too

Re: kickstand oil seal problems

I had the same problem. At the back of the motor, in a tight little space between the tire and the motor, there is a little hose that comes out, it almost looks like a wire. follow it, and if it goes to the left side of the bike that is the one. The hose will go to a little black box on the left side of the bike tucked in almost under the seat, then there is another hose that comes out of that little black box, it goes to a another little box with a dome on one end. Check all of these hoses to see if they are pinched. That should be Your problem

Re: kickstand oil seal problems

I know when I installed my 88cc kit, it was doing the same thing. I bought a bigger oil pump and breather tube you put on the head and now it works great. But if you put too much oil or the tube is pinched it'll shoot oil out of the tube from the head.

What will shoot out oil or air?

Oil won't shoot out of mine with the dipstick out and engine running.

Re: kickstand oil seal problems

Oil, that means you dont have enough in there then. Because the gears are moving the oil will fly around. I did that once, got covered.

Re: kickstand oil seal problems

i've never seen a fiddy spew out oil from the dipstick hole unless it had a pinched hose. you should be able to take it off when it's running no prob.

Re: kickstand oil seal problems

i use an old 70 motor no c/c vent, seeps a minimal
amount of oil around the kickstarter and oil fill cap,no puddles, i just wipe it off
if its more than that then you need to fix it
ive never started one up(50) with the dipstick off
so i dont know but generally it will spew oil out because normally its beside the clutch hub which in alot of cases the lower part is emersed in oil
and it would seem to me a 50 would be no different, isnt that why there is an o'ring there on the dipstick?if you take the oring off it will leak oil there....
