Help My Fiddy!!!!!

for some reason, last night my fiddy started like ****in up. It is okay when i am half throttle, but when i pull it all the way when ur riding, it like has little spurts of drag, so it cant get going very fast. When it is doing this, the muffler like has those little shots of sound, except louder and more abnormal. Its really hard to explain...I cant get into the dealership till monday! Please help me so i can start !

Re: Help My Fiddy!!!!!

Clean the carb. Take it off. Open up the float. Dump out the crud. Take out the jet and clean it. Take out the funny looking brass peice under the jet and clean that too; this is where you will find some stuff plugging up everything. Take the mixture and idle screw out counting the amount of turns it took to do so. Clean out the body of the carb with some carb cleaner. Don't do it over the sink where little things can fall out. What I usually do and have never had a problem is take out all rubber and plastic peices and put it in a pan with some water and boil it. Dry it off, get all the water out and put it back together. Should not take that long and is not very difficult.

Get a $2 fuel filter.

also you might check the wires on the coil and make sure they are snug on there
that will make it miss fire at top end from the vibration of the motor
mine did it the other day kid crashed and it ran like chit took a minute to find it
