Suzuki JR 50 Questions
I just picked up a Suzuki JR 50 that is complete and runs and rides for 125.00.
I had to clean the carb and put a new plug in it a little tuning and it runs/idles ok.
Questions, How do I know what year it is? It only has 125493 stamped on the goose neck. Look like the older ones.
After idling for a while it starts spitting oil out of the exhaust, looks like mud almost a heavier looking oil maybe crankcase? Smokes some but runs ok. Does this mean it needs a new top end?
Reading through your post you all are not a fan of this bike. Is it because the Honda is so much bettter? My 6 year old will learn to ride it and then we will go from there.
Any input would be great!
