looking for advice

Newbie question.
I’ve been into sprortbikes for a while, and now I’m getting into the fiddy stunt scene so I am buying a bike. I was wondering what the best thing to do is….
I am looking at 2-6 year old Honda crf 50cc bikes. Should I buy a bike that has already been stunted and ready to stunt. Or should I buy stock and build up myself, problem is I know about 600cc and 750cc sport bikes, I don’t even know when to start with the little 50’s. Just looking for your opinions and the pros and cons of both. Oh yeah I am on a budget of $700. Thanks for your input.

Re: looking for advice

depends on the condition and price of the bikes...doing work on a 50 is easy for the most part plus i think its fun to do the work myself

Re: looking for advice

As long as the bike is in good shape, I'd buy used. I bought new and worked on it myself, that way you know what happened to the bike. And all I can blame is myself. LOL

Re: looking for advice

I Bought mine used, Runs great,
but before you get into buying parts for it, make sure u know what it is ur gona be riding such as bmx jumps or racing or juss wheelies on the street and messing around. all the parts you get are geared tarwd what type of riding you do, i made the mistake of getting race forks when im into bmx jumps, and set my bike up for racing, only to want to change it. so do your homework and find out what exactly u want to do.

Re: looking for advice

I never used the perrelli's on my bike but I have rode a bike with them before and didn't think they were worth any more money. I do however love 90/90-10 duro's if you can find em. They handle good and look B/A! I get em for around $18 a tire from the local stealership.
CLICKY!!!!!!!!!
