general 50 question

I'm 6'2" 165 but college soon means i'll probably have to sell my F4.. started another thread about crf230's/150's but I'm also still lookin at 50's.. so my question.. I know I'm gonna throw on a big bar kit if I go the 50 route but do I need any other mods? Will suspension on an XR50 or a CRF 50 be enough to support me? I'd be strictly stunting it so my only worry would be blowing the rear shock or bending the forks.. do people usually change anything suspension wise or just run it how it is?

Re: general 50 question

I like stock better for stunting but it wouldnt hurt to get a stiffer spring for the rear which is cheap like $30. And maybe some after market fork bushings. you can get stiffer fork springs to but imo they arent worth it unless you're going to be rollin alot of endos

Re: general 50 question

you wont need a stiffer suspension as long as your just stunting like wheelies and as long as your not planning on jumping it youll be just fine, but if you do decide to chage suspension make sure you get at least +1's
