![]() | Re: need help with my clutch does it have the same type of adjustment as the honda? if so.. loosen the nut on the side and turn the flathead screw couter clockwise until you feel slight resistance. then turn it back in 18 - 1/4 turn and hold it there while you tighten the nut back down the best way to tell if your clutch is adjusted right is to have the bike running in 1st gear.. sit on it with your right foot holding the brake and gas it a little.. you should be able to lift on the shifter about 1/2 to 3/4 inch and have it dissengage... i personally use the set and test method jsut mentioned instead of worrying about how many fractions of a turn i'm at...especially on my ex's chinese clone |
