![]() | Re: Fix your brakes for free, Brake modification I know its an old thread. But for those of us that have not been around as long. I thought that I would post some actual pics of what Fab5Fiddy was trying to explain. This mod will work until you need new pads. Then the mod must be repeated. The Pics w/Fab5fiddy's instructions are pretty much self-explanatory. You can see in the Pic where the cam touches or engages the pads. All you have to do is shave roughly 1/8" off the bottom pad, and make sure that pad w/ most thickness is on top!! And Hot Damn Fabtastics Brakes. Hope this helps. O Yea I took about 20 Minutes!! |
