954 Help
ok a buddy of mine has a 2002 954, he lost the key and has no extra, and dont wanna wait for antother key to come, he's taken of the keyswitch and messed with the 3 wires that are connected the problewm is that the fuel pump wont kick on, is there any way in hell to get the fuel pump to work???? And he dont want it completely rigged up, jus something simple, its bout 65 outside and he's desperate

its not a bad connection, everything worked fine, he took a ride on it, parked it and lost the key, nothing was messed up before he lost the key, thats the only problem, is that there is no key

Quit trying to steal **** and have us show you how to hot wire bikes
hahahaha!! Nah for real take the cap off and have a lock smith make him one. I will take 20 minutes seriously man!!

ok heres the update lol,
keyswitch=broke, not fixable, they took all the tumblers outta it so now they are down to hot wiring it somehow, so just wire the fuel pump directly to what??

yea its usually a pain with the setup...
try this, with my bike you have to unplug the 2 main harness plugs(blue and grey big plastic clips on your right side.)
unplug, replug....itll reset. and see if it does it...
cant explain but i change my bike up all the time and i always have to do that to turn on the pump.

You gotta be careful with the 929/954 ignitions man... If you mess them up and touch the wrong 2 together, you can blow the ignition switch thingy (lol). Then you'll need a new one. PM Prozak, his 929 is missing keys too.
