Yeah, I have to agree with MD600. I'm in trying to get hired as a cop (completed the police academy, save the jokes) and all they can do is give you a ticket for not obeying traffic control device (meaning a speed limit sign). To give you a ticket for a certain speed, that have to have you on radar, or have to be behind you clocking you (they have certified speedometers). As for searching you, you can say no. I do when I get lit up just for the hell of it, it pisses them off, but by that point they've already ruined my day. They have to have something called "probable cause" to search you, and it's hard to prove probable cause in court.

wrong. they cant peg you for an exact speed but they can write you for careless driving. my best friend, and the person i always ride with is a cop and he is not certified in radar so he cant use that, but if he thinks you are speeding he can still cite you. and i would assume you got away clean and clear, but if canada law is anything like the US, we have something called statute of limitations. they have up to 30 days to write you a summons. if he did get your plate, you could also get hit for evading the police. just be careful man, if he had yanked you off the bike you would be hurt right now.

Your some what right. He can't just see a person driving down the rode, and think there going fast, and decide "Hey, i think i'll screw them in the a$$." They have to have probable cause. Read the definition of it.

I think you ride home let daddy spank you on the bottom and then have your parents tuck you into bed and forget about it.
