How well do you know the 929?

Better than I, if I'm lucky. I just bought this bike and within one week it’s developed a few issues. Not a big deal really, just an expensive one I think. I know I have a charging issue but I’m not sure if its the regulator (doubtful) or the stator. Battery was almost dead (it could barely crank but wouldn’t start) the other morning. So I tossed it on the charger and started it up after a couple mins. It ran a little rough but seemed ok, so I backed it out and the gauge started to go on and off. Then the bike started to stumble. I shut it off and there was nothing, no juice left in the battery at all. I tossed it on the charger for a while and she started up fine a few hours later. I hooked it up to a volt meter and here is what I saw..

bike off 12.26 volts
bike on and at idle 12.32 volts
bike on and at 4K 12.61 volts

I know when everything is working right it should be around 13.20-14.00 volts when running…

To me it looks like my stator is dead. Have any of you seen this problem or had any issues like this? Thanks for the help!
