Zx6rr/6r Owners...

I just bought stock Kawi pegs for my RR, and they are different then the ones I have had on my two '03 RRs. Problem is I bought both of them w/500 miles on them so I can't say for sure they were stock. What I do know though is that the pegs on both of my RRs were all metal, and the stockers that Kawi just sent me have rubber tops. Maybe the RR has all metal for the track as it was intended, and the R has rubber ?

My question is this...
If you bought your 6R/6RR new would you please let me know what year & model you have, and if you have all metal or rubber coated pegs on it.

6r's come with rubber on the peg. . .6rr does not. . most likely they sent the wrong thing, but if you have an 03rr it should NOT have rubber on the pegs. . . . any more questions just let me know. . .

WE HAVE A WINNER!!!... zodrow
Apparently they looked over the microfiche too quickly, and mixed up the 6R with the 6RR. I knew they were the wrong part for sure when I went to install them this morning, and they did not fit.

camaroguy72>>> Thanks for looking out, but not necessary anymore

bill parr>>> Thank you as well, and I agree that the CompWerkes as well as most all the other aftermarket pegs look gorgeous, but the problem I've found with them in the past is that when they break they usually snap at the base or worse and more commonly for me at least is they bend the rear-set. On the other hand, the stockers break perfectly in half allowing continued use after the incident. I broke one stocker at 15mph; the other at just over 100mph and they broke identically.
