Bike shipping - General Sportbike Discussion

I am looking for the best and cheapest way to ship bikes. What companies do you guys recomend?

I bought a bike off of ebay and had it shipped from Oregon to St. Louis with no problems. Had it shipped through Forward air.

They have a special designed metal box for motorcycles that locks at both ends and is pretty nice. I had no problems with them.

It does take a little while for them to get a container to the origin sometimes, but for me this was the best choice. I think i paid around 400 to ship it but at that time it was about the average price. Hope this helps..

ForwardAir is definetley the way to go. Ship all my bikes through them

thier great, but thier lil crate has a waiting list!

my buddy tears his down and ships two boxes as 'parts'. then it is tons cheaper. motor + frame in one and wheels, forks in the other.

forward air is easy to use only prob u got to pick it up at the colsest forward air location they dont bring the bike to your house unless u have a loading dock
