Cheap waterproof analog 2" tach 15k+ RPMs

I just bought a hacked together f4i that did not include any gauges lights ect ect. I have rewired bikes cars ect, and love playing with circuitry, so hakish solutions, or something that requires the leg work doesn't bother me.

Has anyone been able to find a simple RPM gauge that is 2" max around for less then $50. I could buy the larger Asian knock off cluster style gauges and try to cut them up, shrink it down and resize it, but a simple metal/plastic enclosed guage that I can mount to the triple right in the notch between the fork and headstem is preferred. Highchair and the sort is a long way off if ever, but I would like to build it right the first time so there is crash protection and they are out of the way. There are gauges that go to 11-13k for cheap, but I'd rather not overdrive them and see all the way up to 14.2k. I have seen the digital ones, and that is an option, but they have a .5 second lag, which is tolerable, but there can be a huge rev jump in .5 seconds so they don't track as nicely as the analog ones. I'm picky.

I guess pretty much everybody here rock the stock gauges or ride without 'em.
The f4i revs to 13 or 13,5k rpm so no need for one that goes to 15k. Ooor just say **** it and ride without an rpm gauge

That seems to be the case. From everything I have seen, redline for the 01 is 14200 I could be wrong. I am also taking a few new riders on this pile as well, so a tach is nice to reference until they can go by ear.
